YOUR TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel Arrangements: You are responsible for organizing your travel to and from your travel destination. The airline and travel schedule are at your discretion. We recommend using travel miles to offset airfare costs. Once you have decided on your flight details, please inform us, so we can arrange to pick you up from either Denpasar Airport in Bali or Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is mandatory for this trip. While it's a minor additional cost, it can save you from unexpected expenses, such as medical care, flight cancellations, and emergency evacuation. Proof of insurance is required before travel.
Liability Waiver: Before, during, and after the trip, you will be required to sign a legal waiver that releases The Caravan Gallery of LaConner, Linda Banaszak, Danielle Hill and spouse, Upward Financial Inc, Terry Divyak, and Shutter Tours from any responsibility for any issues associated with the trip.
Non-Competition Contract: During the trip, you'll be visiting some of our business contacts that offer exclusive discounts only to the Caravan Gallery. As such, you'll need to sign a non-competition contract and a statement that you will not disclose any sources associated with the Caravan Gallery of LaConner.
Accommodations and Itinerary: The daily itinerary and accommodations are subject to change. We reserve the right to make adjustments as necessary. If changes are needed, we will provide equivalent lodging and activities. We will provide you with a final itinerary before travel.
Tour Deposits: To secure a seat on a Traveling Shoppers Tour, you need to pay a deposit of $500 per person, complete registration, and sign the Travel Liability Waiver, Travel's Responsibilities, and Tour Member Expectation forms. Deposits are refundable for 30 days from receipt. After that, they are not refundable for any reason and will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be sent to Traveling Shoppers in writing via e-mail to travelingshoppers@gmail.com or via postal mail to Traveling Shoppers PO BOX 721 LaConner, WA 98527, and will be effective on the date received. Tour reservations may be cancelled without penalty (excluding deposits) at any time until final payment is due (see below) at which time payments are non-refundable for any reason.
Final Payment: The non-refundable final tour payment, which includes all fees and costs, is due 90 days before departure. Failure to make the final payment by the deadline may result in your removal from the tour. If you register for a tour within 90 days of departure, the non-refundable full payment is required before we can confirm your reservation.
Currency Fluctuation and Flight Cost Fluctuation Waivers: Due to the volatility of international currency markets and flight costs, the advertised tour price will be adjusted if the US Dollar value declines by 10% or more against a given tour's currency. Additionally, if flight costs increase by more than 25%, we reserve the right to assess a flight surcharge. The final price of the tour will be determined 90 days before departure, measured against the exchange rate or published fare on the date of the official tour announcement.
Solo Travelers and Single Accommodations: If you prefer single accommodations, you can request them by paying a Single Supplement fee. However, single accommodations are limited and based on availability.
Luggage: Each tour participant is strongly encouraged to bring just one airline-carry-onsize bag of approximately 22"x14"x 9", and a small day bag. Please note you will usually carry your own bags, which may include carrying up many steep stairs, walking up to 10 minutes to the hotel, and loading/unloading from many types of transportation. Keep in mind, your purchases can be shipped via our containers. Details about our shipping program will be shared prior to departure.
Photos: Traveling Shoppers reserves the right to use photos of tour members for future marketing, but you may opt out by providing a written request before the tour starts. The company also reserves the right to use any images shared with them on social media or directly.
Written Comments: Traveling Shoppers requests optional feedback after every tour and may use any written comments for future marketing purposes.
Fitness Level: Traveling Shoppers Tours are physically demanding and require a reasonable level of fitness.
Non-smoking tour: Smoking is not permitted during group activities or meals, and smokers may only smoke outdoors and downwind from the group. Any charges associated with smoking will be your responsibility.
Children on tour: Traveling Shoppers currently only accepts travelers who are 18 years old or older.
Tour itineraries are subject to change: Tour itineraries are subject to change, and uncompleted portions of the tour itinerary are not cause for refund.
Group Size: Our standard tour size is limited to 8 tour members.

Although we exercise every care possible, we can assume no liability for injury, damage, delay, loss, accident or irregularity in connection with the services of any airplane, boat, motor-coach, minibus, train, or other conveyance, public or private, used in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. We cannot accept responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in transportation services due to sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, acts of God or other causes beyond our control. All such losses and expenses will be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. Additionally, Traveling Shoppers does not accept liability for any airline carrier’s cancellation penalty or change fee incurred by the purchase of non-refundable tickets to or from the tour.

Participation: Traveling Shoppers may decline to accept any person on their tours and has the right to expel someone from a tour at any time, without any claims or complaints.
Tour member expectations: Tour participants are required to accept a Liability Release agreement and are responsible for obtaining any necessary passports, visas, or vaccinations. We set up our tours to help travelers experience the country over lavish comfort, hotels (overnight trains, guesthouses) are occasionally lacking in American-style comforts and amenities. Very occasionally, bathrooms must be shared. Moreover, while we endeavor to present a fair description of tour experiences, inevitably, sometimes expectations are not met. In those situations, we expect a flexible, positive attitude and have a strict “no grumps” policy.
Assumed Risk: Tour participants intentionally accept the many risks inherent in international travel and are required to review and accept, prior to their tour start date, a Liability Release agreement. Tours cancelled by Traveling Shoppers: Although unlikely, your tour may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or lack of participation. If we cancel a tour you have reserved, the entire amount you have paid for the applicable tour will be refunded as soon as possible after the tour's cancellation. Once this occurs, Traveling Shoppers has no other obligations to tour participants on cancelled trips including any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations not made by Traveling Shoppers
Passports/visas/vaccinations: Trips outside the U.S. require a valid U.S. passport. Many countries require a visa before entering. Some countries require proof of certain vaccinations to enter their borders. All said documentation is the sole responsibility of you the traveler.
